The trail from northwest to northeast, crossing the peaceful Thac Ba lake is surprising to all. Amazing landscapes, friendly people featured an enjoyable time in northern Vietnam.
Ha Noi – Tuyen Quang – Yen Bai – Sapa
Day 01: Ha Noi – Tuyen Quang (B,L,D)
Am: breakfast. Heading to Tuyen Quang mineral spring, indulge yourself in the pristine water which is believed to be good for your health. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Pm: passing rivers, tea plantation, enjoy the spectacular landscape and visit local people. Stop for drinks and photos en route upon requests. Arrive in Dao tribe's house at late afternoon, trekking around village. Dinner and home stay with Dao people.
Day 02: Tuyen Quang – Yen Bai (B,L,D)
Am: sailing on Ba lake after having breakfast with local people. Visit the floating cave and swim in the blue water with inspirational scences. Having lunch with special dishes of local tribe.
Pm: drivingto Luc Yen district, visit painting village where people making painting by precious stones which is famous in this area. Have some drink. Home stay in a peaceful house.
Day 03: Yen Bai – Lao Cai – Sapa (B,L,D)
Am: heading to Lao Cai province, visit the Flower Hmong tribe en route, lunch in Bao Yen district then have a break in sugar plantation area.
Pm: continue to Sapa town, check in hotel. Walking around the town to central market, ancient church, cloudy park.
Day 04: Sapa – Lao Cai – Ha Noi (B,L,D)
Am: enjoy a nice breakfast, then start trekking downhill to Cat Cat village occupied by black Hmong tribe. Discover their simple life with the interest of exotic culture foundation, features as well as taking some culture shock with the sharing of our guide. Back to the town for lunch.
Pm: free to buy some souvernirs and local specialities. Back to Lao Cai city, visiting the border gate. Dinner in a chic restaurant by the station. Taking overnight train back to Ha Noi.
